About Us
Like many of us, our founder Aysha Scott was going through a distressing time during the pandemic and discovered the importance of journaling and planning. Combining her passions for filmmaking and journaling, and after witnessing firsthand the gatekeeping and accessibility hurdles within the film sector, she created Filmmaking Planner.
In July 2023, we proudly launched our first hardback planner. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with strong global sales and feedback. Our journey has led to exciting collaborations with renowned filmmakers, film schools, universities, and global festivals. We have exhibited our planners at events such as TNB Expo 2024, Cine Circle's Film and TV Job Fair, and industry networking events.
Our planners are now available through the British Bookshop, and Amazon, expanding our reach to filmmakers and creatives worldwide. We've also partnering with designers, print-on-demand services, and e-commerce and merchant platforms like Shopify, Etsy, Pinterest and TikTok Shop. Over the past year, we've expanded our product line to include affirmation pens, digital planners, and more, continually striving to support and inspire the creative community.

We are deep rooted in South London, UK, but we offer worldwide shipping!
Who are the planners for?
The Filmmaking Planner is designed to cater to the needs of filmmakers at all levels. Whether you're an absolute beginner or part of a professional production team, our planner offers the guidance and the resources necessary to stay organised and efficient throughout the entire production process.
What projects can I use the planners for?
Filmmaking Planner is designed to be adaptable to various genres and styles of filmmaking. Whether you're working on a narrative film, documentary, or experimental project, our planner's comprehensive approach ensures that you can effectively organise and manage your production, regardless of the genre you're working in.
Do you have any other products coming out?
We are currently in production with our affirmation mugs and a filmmaking course, and we will be expanding our product line with unique items specifically designed for the media and entertainment industry.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 2 hours of purchasing. To cancel your order please contact sales@filmmakingplanner.com.
How long do the hardback planners take to arrive?
Please keep in mind that our planners are currently being printed through a reliable print-on-demand service. Fulfilment and production can take between 1-3 days, excluding bank holidays and weekends.
For UK orders shipping will take 1-2 days depending on delivery option.
For USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, standard shipping usually takes 7-10 business days. Faster shipping options are available for 5-7 days delivery. This does not included fulfilment timeframe mentioned above.
Other international standard shipping times vary and may take 2-4 weeks depending on destination.
Your patience is truly invaluable as we venture into the realm of self-publishing, diligently working to handle orders in-house.
Standard Delivery usually takes 3-7 working days within the UK.
Due to Brexit, international orders may also be subject to a customs fee when arriving in your country.
Digital Filmmaking Planner Download Policy
After purchasing your Digital Filmmaking Planner, you will instantly receive a download link for your files. Please note that downloads are limited, so we kindly ask that you do not share these files with others. To prevent fraud, we track our download links to ensure the files are not being transferred or shared inappropriately.
As a small business, we strive to offer the best opportunities and lowest fees to our customers. However, misuse of our services can negatively impact our ability to continue doing so. Please be mindful of this when using our products.

International Orders and Tracking
We partner with a print-on-demand service to ensure each planner is custom-printed per order. As a small company with a dedicated team, we take pride in delivering quality products, but shipping times may vary depending on your location, especially for international orders.
We strongly recommend choosing tracked shipping at checkout, as we cannot be responsible for untracked parcels once dispatched. You will receive a tracking code when your order ships, and if there are any delays or issues, please contact your local shipping provider directly using the tracking number. Since they operate separately from us, contacting them directly will help avoid further delays.
