AMALIA MARIA
Amalia Maria is a filmmaker of French and Romanian descent who grew up in the Netherlands. Her passion for storytelling began at the age of six when her mother introduced her to her school’s theater club. Since then, the desire to create and perform has been a central part of her life.
Amalia has explored almost every art form, always seeking new ways to express herself. Writing scripts became her gateway to escaping into new lives and exploring how others interact with their environments, which she then translates onto the screen. While she doesn’t recall the exact details of her first film project, she knows it sparked her love for filmmaking—a passion she continues to nurture, with deep gratitude to those who have supported her along the way.
Now based in Paris, Amalia is dedicated to sharing her work and expanding her creative horizons.
